after losing our beloved cat of 16 years, felipe, about a month ago, we recently decided to adopt 2 new kitties from the shelter.  they came home 2 days ago just in time for christmas!!! they are still very shy but they are beginning to come out of their shells.  give a warm welcome to piggs and mosley...

Douzo, Boston

tonight i went out to dinner with my family in boston.  we went to a great japanese place we love in boston called douzo.  i highly recommend this place, the sushi is excellent and their cooked food is fantastic as well.  my mom got the yaki udon  because shes not a big sushi eater and i snagged a bite...delicious! after that we walked up and down newbury street and grabbed a box of pears from the harry and david store.  i can not wait for them to finish ripening mmmm i love pear. there was a lovely holiday spirit in the air and it was a great night!

today my family and i brought home a christmas tree and decorated it.  we used to live near a big tree farm and i always found something extremely satisfying in walking and walking through all the "no" trees to finally come across the perfect one that feels like it been waiting just for you.  i have to say, picking it out at the local church was not as fun but its a great tree none the less and they all look beautiful once they are decorated.  its beginning to feel a lot like christmas!

Lissie, the idol i never knew i had

today i realized that three songs that i love were all sung by the same person...and it blew my mind! in light of this discovery im adding lissie to my list of idols.  she is fantastic and so versatile

my accessories today

my sister brought me this cute bracelet over thanksgiving, i looove the way it looks with my watch. just what my wrist needed. oh and on the other side from where it says libra, it has the libra constellation in little crystals. amazing.
